Boat paint
From a simple, single colour paint scheme, to a more ornate traditional design; painting or re-painting your boat has many benefits.
As well as making your boat look better, a multi layered paint coating is the best and most cost effective way of protecting and prolonging the steel work of your narrowboat.

It can also add thousands to its value
Using traditional techniques and only high quality paints and materials, we offer a painting service that will transform your tired old paintwork into something to be proud of.

Our full repaints involve; removing all windows, mushroom vents and navigation lights etc, and preparing the surfaces to be painted. Filler may be applied where necessary followed by the first of two coats of primer.
Once primed, at least three coats of undercoat are painted on, depending on colour choice and design. Between each coat, the paint is flatted to remove imperfections and help with the adhesion of the next coat.
Finally the top coats are applied. This may be two, three or even four coats, again, depending on choice of colour etc.
All of our painting is done by hand using very high quality, handmade brushes to ensure a lasting high gloss finish.

We also offer a complete sign writing service using several trusted and highly respected artists with many years of experience within the industry.
Alternatively you may choose a more modern approach and opt for vinyl graphics. These are done in-house and we can accommodate almost any design and with hundreds of colours to choose from; the only limit is your imagination.
